Knapp Railroad Builders, Inc. has been in Wisconsin since 1922. Founded by Walter H. Knapp, this thriving business started with the growing needs of the Milwaukee Railroad and its customers, and the business has has continued its highly recommended services ever since.

Knapp Railroad Builders is currently owned by Rich Hawkins, who has been with the company for more than 40 years.  In 1997, he made his dream come true and became owner of Knapp Railroad Builders, Inc. He continues to run the company along the same philosophy of the founders, and he has grown the company in leaps and bounds since he acquired Knapp. He and Knapp are highly regarded throughout Wisconsin as an honest and loyal businessman and company.
