Knapp Railroad Bulders, Inc. believes all of its employes are family. Some have been with the family for many years.
Todd Zimny – Shop Foreman/Superintendant
Mr. Zimny joined the Knapp Railroad Builders family in 1971 as a laborer and truck driver. Throughout the years he has performed at a high standard in many positions within the company including; Foreman, operator, welder, welding foreman, and now shop foreman/superintendent He continues to be the “go-to” person for emergency maintenance and jobsite needs.
Dan Rausch – Sr. Project Supervisor/Foreman
Mr. Rausch joined the Knapp Railroad Builders family in 1983 as a laborer. He worked hard and learned quickly to move to this present day position of Senior Project Supervisor/Foreman. Mr. Rausch leads his crew on projects in a quiet, demanding manner. Mr. Rausch’s projects and performance continues to impress the corporation and customers with quality, timeliness, and integrity.
Randy Hawkins – Project Supervisor/Foreman
Mr. Hawkins was welcomed into the Knapp Railroad Builders family in 1996 as a part-time employee while going to college. In 1998 he finished his education and began his full-time career. He began as a laborer under Dan Rausch, and following in Dan’s steps, he worked hard and learned quickly to move to his position of Project Supervisor/Foreman. Mr. Hawkins prides himself on safely producing quality jobs. He has worked on and led projects of all sizes and is often praised on the quantity of work that he completes in such a short amount of time with the highest of quality.
Al Coyer – Surfacing Foreman
Mr. Coyer was welcomed into the Knapp Railroad Builders family in 1994. He began his career with us as a truck driver. One day he decided to assist a crew with operating a tamper and hasn’t gotten out since. He has continued to impress with his knowledge, workmanship, and quality. He is now teaching other employees the proper technique and quality the Knapp family is know for.
